ACTIVE TRAVEL

The weather is brightening up and that means it’s time to get active! We encourage all families to try to walk, scoot or ride their bike to school again. By actively traveling to school, the number of cars on the roads will be reduced during the busy drop off and pick up times. Being active helps to keep us fit and healthy and it makes us feel happy too!

If you drive to school maybe you can park your car a bit further away from HEPS and then walk or ride the rest of the way - because Part Way is OK!

In Term 4 we will be presenting two weekly Active Travel trophies at assembly, to the classes that have the most students being active on their way to school.

Well done to everyone that has been walking, riding and scooting to school and remember that part way is okay!

Below you will find some suggested routes to travel to Heathmont East Primary School. Let’s try to reduce the number of cars on our roads during busy drop off and pick up times, by walking or riding to school!
