Level 3

Term 3 has been busy for all students in Level 3.

WRITING

In 3GE we have been learning about how to write advertisements. We came up with the name for a theme park, ‘Pop Rock’, and developed advertisements for our theme parks. We have also been developing scripts for a television commercial that students will perform in front of the level.

MATHS

In Maths, we have been learning about the concept of ‘Chance’ and Miss B has done a great job of teaching it and making it fun.

LITERACY DAY

The Level 3 students enjoyed the visit by author, Kelly Wilson. She spoke about her inspiration for her books and the writing process. The students were very engaged in what she had to say and asked some well-thought-out questions. Finally, they joined in singing a rap that she had made.

CAMP

3GE had so much fun on camp! We earned gems for each of the school values and made Miss Edgell and the other teachers so proud. The activities that we did were: Low Ropes, Flying Fox, Nature Craft, Giant Swing, Hut Building and Orienteering.

The food was delicious and there was a lot of it. On Wednesday night we had a trivia night and on Thursday night we relaxed and watched a movie.
