Skippers Tickets

An excited bunch of St George's students became qualified skippers at Mounts Bay Sailing Club as part of their Year 11 ATAR and Year 12 APEx Marine and Maritime Studies. The Recreational Skippers Ticket practical test goes towards their assessment and final grade - and, living in Perth, is very handy too.

Year Science excursion

Year 9 students enjoyed a day at Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre for a Science excursion which linked in with their current topic of ecosystems.  The students did a round robin of activities to help support their learning and prepare them for their Science assessment. 

We would like to thank all those at the Discovery Centre who helped to educate us further and a special thanks to Ms Lane for all of her time planning the excursion
