School Captains' Report

Wominjeka everyone, and welcome to the second newsletter for 2026. We are Georgia and Ethan and are proud to be your 2026 School Captains.
Last week was our Four to Six swimming carnival and what an exciting day it was. Full of cheering, fun and vibrant house colours, this year’s carnival was one of the best ever. Not to mention that it was the first time that the House Captains got to lead their house and we couldn’t be more proud. But we want to give a special congratulations to WIIN house for taking the WIN! Also a big shoutout to everyone who attended and participated for giving it a go and having fun. Our favourite part was seeing everyone trying their best and taking part in the awesome day.
It was CRAZY HAIR DAY today in support of Hamish Howe, a former ENPS student who has sadly been battling brain cancer. We want to do everything that we can to help so we all wore crazy hair in support of Hamish’s journey and brought a gold coin donation to let Hamish and his family know that we are supporting them. Because it is small steps like this that can lead towards a big difference in finding a cure.
Reminders:
For the next two weeks the Year Sixes have their gala sports days on Friday so good luck to them!
On Wednesday the 25th of March the district swimming team will compete
On Tuesday the 3rd of March we have school photos so bring your biggest smile!
Before we sign off each week we will end our letter with a kindness quote to remind our school community that we should always treat others with kindness and respect.
“In a world where you can be anything, be kind”
We hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.
Sincerely,
Your School Captains, Georgia and Ethan
