Victoria May

What is your favourite TV show?

The Office (US). I have seen it from start to finish about five times and it always makes me laugh!

What inspired you to work in education?

After my first day of foundation, I came home and was raving about my teacher and how I wanted to be just like her when I grew up. My career choice never changed from that day.

What can't you live without?

My friends and family. They bring so much joy, laughs, and calm to my life.

What are you most proud of?

How I have helped so many students to grow, both academically and emotionally.

Tea or coffee?

Both! My favourite is a chai tea with some coffee, yum! 

Big cities or rural adventures?

I grew up in rural Western Australia, so rural adventures will always have a place in my heart. But I do absolutely love exploring cities! Milan is my favourite that I have travelled to so far.

Snow or beach?

I would much rather be really cold than really hot. So it has to be snow!

Is there anything you do regularly to promote mental and physical wellbeing?

I exercise almost every day for my mental health. Whether it is going to the gym, Pilates or just a walk around a park. It helps me to clear my mind and I always feel so much better afterwards.

If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?

I would love to be able to teleport! I have family in New Zealand and Western Australia, so it would be great to be able to see them in a heartbeat!

On a rainy day, I like to.....

Curl up on the couch with a cup of tea and a good book! I also love to do movie marathon days with friends.

What are you enjoying most about your role at ENPS so far?

My fantastic students, shout out to all of you in 3VM. I have only been with this class for a short amount of time but they are already showing me amazing things!
