Last week the students learnt a range of new games to challenge themselves and ensure they play together in a positive manner. The Year Ones played a game called Frosty the Snowman which was a relay race to balance bean bags on top of a fellow classmate. The snowman with the most beanbags in the time limit wins.
They also played a Spanish game called Cupra which involved them running to a line only when the ball is in the air thrown from the teacher. As soon as the ball is caught by the teacher they must stop and freeze. If they are caught still running they must go back to the start.
The Year Three to Six students played a relay race called Rock, Bridge, Tree Relay whereby the students need to run and jump over a rock, crawl under a bridge and run around a tree all made by their bodies. The winning team gets a point.
