Year Six

Camp at Peninsula Outdoors
To start the year, the Year Six students attended the much anticipated camp for two nights at Peninsula Outdoors, Merricks.
The teachers were impressed by the resilience the student showed when trying a variety of beach based activities, their communication skills when in mixed activity groups and their responsibility shone through when taking on duty group tasks and packing up cabins.
Some student reflections are included below and some key quotes were:
"I will always remember having fun playing Spotlight. It is super fun hiding in the woods and being adventurous." Rohan
"I was resilient when I couldn’t stand up on the surf board for the first two times but after I kept trying I finally got it and kept getting it after the 3rd go." Zadie
"I learnt that I am a very organised person compared to the other people there." Amitai
"If camp had a theme or message it would be a risk taker and give it a try as you will be really proud." Sophie
