Year 10 Creating with Food
Year 10 Creating with Food have been working on through a Design brief challenge. Their prompt was:
Your mission is to design and cook an original dinner meal that supports the nutritional needs of your chosen “client” who wants healthier family meals.
Choose a person from a specific lifespan stage and investigate their nutritional needs. Using this research, create a design brief and develop a healthy, creative, and sustainable dinner recipe that would suit them.
You will research, plan, cook, evaluate your dish, and of course enjoy eating it too. Your final meal should demonstrate food skills, creativity, and thoughtful planning
Over two fantastic practical periods their vision came to life. One lesson they were head chef and the other they were a peer’s sous chef. It was fantastic to see them bring their vision to life!
