Interschool Sport and House Competitions

Please find set out below a few important reminders for Interschool Sport:
Check Compass regularly for information about team sign-ups.
Please ensure payment and consent is provided by the due date. Students are unable to attend the event if we do not have this by the due date.
If students decide to pull out of the event before the day, they MUST let either the teacher coaching the team or Ms Brugliera know ASAP so that we can find another student as a replacement. If not, the team may not have enough players and be unable to go.
Interschool Sport update
The Whitehorse Division Cross Country Carnival, held on Friday 24th April at Ruffey Lake Park, was a fantastic day of competition. A total of 63 Koonung students represented the college, demonstrating outstanding determination across all the hilly 3km and 5km races. It was great to see so many students supporting one another and celebrating each other’s achievements at the finish line. We are incredibly proud of the 27 students that placed in the top 15 in their respective races and have qualified for the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Cross Country Competition, which will take place on the 11th of June. This is a remarkable achievement and reflects their hard work and physical endurance.
Congratulations to all students who participated on the day who showed effort, sportspersonship and positive attitudes. We wish our qualifiers the very best as they prepare for the next stage of competition.
