Bill Turner Cup 

Our Semi-final fixture of the Bill Turner Cup saw Camden's finest shape up against a very stacked John Therry squad fighting for a position in the Sydney South-West Area Final. 

An early set piece screamer from Benny gave us the lead early, The opposition soon answered with their equaliser and let us know they weren't going away that easy! Just before half-time Bailey scored for the lads in blue and Camden went into the sheds at half time leading 2-1. 

The second half was very quiet in terms of goals, plenty of chances missed from the opposition, and plenty of unbelievable saves from our keeper Will who played the best game of his tournament so far! 

The final whistle blew, and the Camden lads were absolutely pumped to secure their spot in the Final for the Sydney South-West area. 

Well done again boys, Franzman couldn't be prouder of the performance on the pitch today. Enjoy the win and get keen for the big dance!

NSWCHS Boys Football 

🔵⚽️ C A M D E N ⚽️🟡  

The Sydney South-West Open boys turned up at Padstow Park a few weeks ago and came away with a dream result! 

Last year we were robbed of the chance, this year we took what's ours . . . 

🏆⚽️ WE ARE GOING TO STATE! ⚽️🏆  

What a display of passion, teamwork and respect the lads showed on the pitch today! Game 1 was super tight, intensity was high and the football was lovely! A beautiful late strike from Matty put us ahead and we held defensively strong to see the win against East Hills. 

Going into Game 2 we needed a win to finish top of Pool A. Fairytale played well and capitalised on some minor injuries that we sustained. Honourable mentions to our goalkeepers Noah and Cameron for keeping us in the game. Plenty of fatigue and sore legs, but as always the lads pushed through and held the draw. 

The final result was out of our hands and down to a fixture between our opponents. After a very suspenseful 50 mins, nail-biting and plenty of sweat, the final whistle blew with Fairvale losing, allowing Camden to finish at the top of our group and heading off to STATE to play Warners Bay High School in the Round of 16! 

Every single player out there today should be proud, holding their heads high and enjoy what we've achieved today! Well done lads!
