We often talk about students needing to acquire skills, but sometimes it is their own interest that already gives them an edge in a competitive workforce. One way to develop both is by making the most of information events, expos, talks and taster days.

During week 9 the ADF (Australian Defence Force) were in the area visiting schools and hosting an information evening. Our students were fortunate to be able to hear from Corporal Michael McIntyre about the multiple work and career options available in the ADF, as well as the multiple modes and pathways to join - from direct enlistment, to university study, to a Gap Year trial, there are so many opportunities.
