Term 1 has been full of leadership elections, selections and training for our Year 7-11 leaders and Student Representative Council. We have a wonderful and passionate group of students leading initiatives and championing student voice at Box Hill High School.
Congratulations to the elected Executive Committee & SRC representatives. The SRC team spent part of their training afternoon developing and refining their vision and purpose as a leadership group.
Vision of SRC: The SRC empowers the voices of all students to create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging school environment where leadership, individuality, and positive change thrive.
Motto: For Students, By Students

Year 11 leaders were elected by their peers after completing a written application to nominate and presenting a speech to their year level. Students had to articulate their leadership skills, their contributions to the school and what they appreciate about their peers. Congratulations to the following students:

Year 10 Middle School Captains were appointed after an application and interview process. Students had to speak to their strengths and share ideas about how they would like to improve the school community if they were successful applicants. Thank you to the Year 12 prefects for assisting as panel members and helping give our Year 10 students feedback on their interview skills. Congratulations to the following students:

Year 7-9 Class Captains were appointed after students nominated themselves, gave a speech to their Homegroup about their leadership skills and were voted in. There are two Class Captains per form group. Congratulations to the following students:
