Sustainability Club

This term the Sustainability Club has already hosted two amazing events – Clean Up Australia Day and Ride2School Day. 

During Clean Up Australia Day, on 27 Feb, we encouraged students to help us collect over 16 buckets of trash during lunch time, helping clean up our school and properly dispose of each category of rubbish into the correct bins – paper/cardboard recycling, bottles/cans, food waste, and landfill. 

Ride2School Day was held on 20 March this year, and the Sustainability Club put on a free breakfast to celebrate for those who participated. There were over 80 students who participated and recorded their walk/run, with the longest walk being 7.5km and longest ride 19km! 

We are very happy with what we’ve already achieved this year and are excited to have many more initiatives to improve our school environment!
