Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,
A big Congratulations to Ms Vania Sparano and Jordan on the arrival of beautiful 'Ilaria'!
Year 5/6 and 2026 Foundation Students Buddy Mass
This Sunday, 15 March, our Year 5/6 students, 2026 Foundation students and their families will celebrate the conclusion of the Foundation transition program at the 11:00am Mass.
The Buddy Mass provides a special opportunity to formally introduce our new Foundation families to the Year 5/6 families as part of our Buddy Program. The purpose of the Buddy Program is to support a smooth transition to school for our youngest students while fostering positive relationships between the older and younger children. This helps strengthen each child’s sense of belonging within a friendly and supportive school community.
The program also benefits the older students by recognising their role as leaders and role models. It encourages a sense of responsibility and pride as they support and guide their younger buddies throughout the year.
This Mass also marks the completion of the Foundation transition program, which began in October last year with the beautiful Parent Spiritual Evening facilitated by Maria Forde, followed by several transition sessions that provided the incoming students with valuable opportunities to experience school before formally beginning in 2026.
All members of our community are warmly welcome to attend.
NAPLAN March 11th - March 23rd
NAPLAN testing begins this week. Please reassure your children to just do their best and approach each task with a positive attitude. Encourage them to stay calm, take their time, and have confidence in what they know, that's all we ask. Thank you for your support in helping our students feel confident and ready.
