Student Wellbeing

As a school community, we remain deeply committed to nurturing the whole child. Wellbeing, resilience and connection sit at the heart of our learning and relationships. When schools and families work together, children feel safer, stronger and more confident in themselves.
The Resilience Project Parent Hub
We are proud to continue our partnership with The Resilience Project through our weekly TRP lessons. The Resilience Project focuses on the evidence-based pillars of Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness. These skills support children to manage big emotions, develop positive relationships and build lifelong resilience.
We use this program because explicit teaching of emotional literacy and coping strategies has a measurable impact on student wellbeing and engagement. Families are encouraged to access the TRP Family Hub, which provides practical videos, resources and conversation starters to help reinforce these skills at home. When children see the same language and strategies used at school and at home, the impact is powerful.

Friday 20th of March, Save the Date!
Let’s ride together and let peace lead the way
We warmly invite our families and wider community to join us on Friday, March 20th for a special day of reflection and celebration as we officially establish our new Peace Pole.
The Peace Pole is a global symbol of unity, carrying the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth.” It creates a shared space within our school for reflection and strengthens our commitment to kindness, respect and connection. This initiative reflects our Catholic values and the teachings of Pope Francis, who calls young people to be peacemakers and active contributors to a more compassionate world.
In the lead up, students will engage in learning experiences exploring what peace looks like in action and how they can contribute positively to our community through empathy, responsibility and care for others.
We are honoured to welcome local councillors and community guests as we celebrate alongside Harmony Week, recognising the diversity that enriches our school.
This day will also coincide with Ride2School Day and the celebration of our Biketober award, highlighting our shared commitment to wellbeing, active lifestyles and community spirit. Make sure you ride or skate your way to school on Friday the 20th of March.
We look forward to gathering together to celebrate peace, learning and connection as one community.
