Wominjeka – Welcome in the Woiwurrung language

As the Lilydale Heights College community, it is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to seven new deadly First Nations students.  As you settle into your new surroundings, we encourage you to embrace the spirit of curiosity and discovery that defines our school community. Welcome to our LHC mob. We look forward to seeing you thrive and grow as you embark on a successful and fulfilling year ahead!

Mob Mondays

Mob Mondays is a dedicated space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to come together, connect and celebrate culture in a supportive school environment. Held every second Monday during Week A, Mob Mondays fosters cultural pride, leadership and well-being, while promoting inclusivity and respect within the school community. We will meet at the Year 7 office, lunch time.

Day 1 of 6 at Yarra Ranges Tech School

On 26th February saw our First Nations students head out to their first Community Practice day with five other First Nation students from surroundings schools. See the March newsletter to see what we got up to!
