Congratulations to all of our Mathematics students on such a strong start to your learning in your Mathematics classes! The positive attitudes and focused effort that our students are demonstrating from Year 7 through to VCE are paving the way for maximised learning growth this year. 

Outside our classrooms

Personal Study 

This year, we have replaced traditional homework tasks with Personal Study, which supports students to revisit and apply learning, develop independent study and time-management skills and build effective habits as they prepare for senior classes. Students in Years 7-10 have all been introduced to Personal Study in their mathematics classes, which will take a consistent format to be completed each week. Parents are encouraged to ask their students about how Personal Study will look in Mathematics this year and to lead a conversation about how they can support their students to work independently at home.
