Colour Run success!

A huge thank you to our community, parent helpers, and our sponsors for such a great day for our students. 

Christmas Raffle

This year the 2025 PA will be holding a Christmas Raffle. Please see attached flyer for details and raffle prizes.

All tickets to the raffle can be purchased via the QKR app and must be purchased by 3pm Tuesday 2rd December  2025.

Tickets will also be able to be purchased at the Christmas Concert. (cash sales only).

Our lucky winners will be drawn during our Christmas Concert on Thursday 4th December 2025.

We thank you for your continued support throughout 2025.

Term Four Special Lunch

The Parent’s Association has organised a Special Lunch for Wednesday 10th December. Please order via QKR! by 3pm Friday 28th November. 

Students are able to choose one of the below items.

• Pack One: 2 Fish bites & chips
• Pack Two: 4 Nuggets & chips
• Pack Three: 2 Potato cakes & chips
• Pack Four: Fish & chips (gluten free)

Additional Extras

•  Juice Box $2
•  Hot dog in batter $3.50
• Fried dim sim $2

No experience necessary, just a WWC (working with children) card and OHS Induction done at the office Tuesday & Thursday mornings at 9.00am & Wednesdays at 3.15pm.

Parent Helpers Afternoon Tea

In 2025, we have had over 90 parents/carers inducted to volunteer and help at school events. Therefore, you are cordially invited to an Afternoon Tea provided by Upwey South Primary School in the Lifelong Learning Centre at 2.00pm - 2.40pm on Thursday, 27th November.

Followed by our whole school Assembly at 2.40pm.

In this way, we can express our appreciation for the valuable support you have given to us and the children of our school in 2025.

We ask that you please bring a keep cup for your drinks.

Please RSVP via the link (green banner) within your Compass profile by Monday 24th November. You will have to open Compass up within the browser not just the app itself. This will help us for catering purposes.

Become involved in our Parent Association

Joining the PA is a great way to get involved and make a difference in our school. We have many exciting fundraising opportunities on the horizon and would love to have you on board. Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little, every bit helps and is greatly appreciated. No experience is needed - just a current Working with Children's Check and a willingness to contribute to our community.

Breakfast Club

Each Friday morning on a weekly basis, we hold Breakfast Club to ensure our students can have a healthy and happy start to their school day. All students and families are invited to enjoy some toast, cereal and fruit from 8:30am each Friday morning.  

Volunteers wanted! If you are available 8:00am - 9:00am Fridays and have a WWCC, we'd love your help. No ongoing commitment expected. 

Tasks include:

• Setting up breakfast area 
• Prepare and serve breakfast 
• Clean up

QKR - to take part in Parent Association Special Lunch Events, please ensure your child/ren has the correct classroom on your QKR profile.This must be updated by parents yearly.
