Communicating with the Year Two Team

When communicating with the Year Two team, please reach out via the below email addresses. Your child's class teacher is your first point of contact when requiring a discussion. You will usually see us outside the classrooms at the end of the day. This is the preferred time to catch us for a quick chat as we are focused on greeting the students before school.

Please also note that we have scheduled meetings at 3.45pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Colour Fun Run!

What an exciting Colour Fun Run. The smiles said it all as the students ran around getting wet and colourful. The slippery slide was a favourite, along with the bubbles and the crawl through. 

Well done to everyone who raised money to support our school. 

Puffing Billy Excursion

On Monday the 17th of November, The Year One and Two classes went on Puffing Billy as part of their Inquiry topic about where we live. 

It was a chilly and damp day, but this did not affect our excitement and enthusiasm.

When we arrived at Puffing Billy station, we ate our snack and listened to some history about the steam train.

At 11 o'clock we departed Belgrave and puffed our way through the forest to Lakeside in Emerald.

At Lakeside we visited the Discovery Museum, then ate our lunches outside in the rotundas.

The students had a wonderful time travelling on the train, looking for animals in the forest and learning about the history of Puffing Billy in the educational centre.
