Colour Run Fun!

🌈 What an amazing day! Our School Colour Fun Run was an absolute blast! The students had an incredible time running through clouds of bright colour, and the slip and slide was definitely a crowd favourite. A huge thank you to all the parents, staff, and volunteers who helped make the day such a success — we couldn’t have done it without you! 💦🎨👏

Inquiry

This term in Inquiry the Year Three and Four students have continued to develop their understanding of Australian History through the study of The First Fleet. Students are learning about the reasons behind the First Fleet setting sail, when the First Fleet arrived at Sydney Cove, what crimes might have led to transportation to the penal colony, how long the trip took, what the conditions on the boats were like, and how convicts might earn their freedom.

Reminders

It is an expectation in Year Three and Four, that students are reading for 20 minutes each night and recording their reading into their diary. Students can choose how they read: independently, to an adult, to a sibling, or even to a teddy or pet.

We are focusing on learning our times tables, and it is expected that students are practicing their times tables at home each night.
