Women’s Health Mobile Clinic

What is the Women’s Health Mobile Clinic? The Women’s Health Mobile Clinic service is delivered by BreastScreen Victoria in partnership with the Victorian Department of Health. The clinic is a nurse -led service designed to improve access to sexual and reproductive health, women’s wellbeing, and cancer screening services for women and people with a cervix (including teenagers) living in regional and rural Victoria.
What the Nurse Practitioner Can Do Our Nurse Practitioners are highly experienced in sexual and reproductive health. They are endorsed to prescribe medications, order investigations (including pathology and ultrasound), and make referrals as required. Some also provide advanced contraceptive care, including Implanon and IUD insertion and removal. The service is overseen by a Clinical Director (GP).
What services are available? Clients can book a free and confidential 45-minute appointment with a Nurse Practitioner experienced in women’s health.
Services include:
· Perimenopause and menopause
· Menstrual concerns and pelvic pain
· Contraception (including IUDs & implants)
· Pregnancy options counselling
· STI testing and treatment
· Bladder concerns
· Cervical and bowel screening (for eligible clients) …and more.
Medicare Card not required.
