It has been a busy and exciting time in STEM! Students have been exploring the fascinating world of science by learning about rainbows and the different states of matter — solids, liquids and gases. They especially enjoyed investigating how rainbows form and identifying examples of matter in their everyday lives.

A definite highlight was making oobleck! The students had an amazing time exploring this strange substance that behaves like both a solid and a liquid. It sparked lots of curiosity, laughter… and quite a bit of mess! Apologies in advance if your child has been keen to recreate this activity at home — we hope you’re prepared for a little extra clean-up!
