Year 3C

Since our last newsletter, students had a wonderful opportunity to participate in an Auslan incursion. During this session, they revised and practised a range of signs, including animals, numbers and colours. The students did a fantastic job showing respect to our Auslan expert, Brianna, and demonstrated great hand formation and focus throughout the activities.
In Mathematics, students have been exploring the connection between multiplication and division. They have been using strategies such as skip counting and creating arrays to deepen their understanding. To showcase their learning, students designed and created their own “array gardens,” which creatively displayed different multiplication facts using rows and columns. It has been fantastic to see their growing confidence and understanding in this area.
Congratulations to all students for their fantastic effort during cross country. You showed great resilience by pushing yourselves and not giving up, even when it was challenging. It was wonderful to see such positive sportsmanship, with everyone encouraging and supporting each other along the way.
