Biz - E - Kidz Summer 2024 Holiday Program fee increase and important dates

We are excited to announce the important dates for the Summer 2024 holiday program.

Holiday Program Dates:

Holiday program runs Monday 8th - Monday 29th January 2024
We are closed Friday 26th January for the ‘Australia Day’ public holiday
School and before and after school care for grades 1 - 6 commences Tuesday 30th of January.
Please note: 2024 prep students are not able to attend the Summer 2024 holiday program. Please contact your current childcare provider if you require care during this period.

Holiday program fee increase

Beginning the 2024 Summer holiday program, some fees will increase to the following:

Inhouse days: $70 per child per child per day (before child care subsidy)
Incursion days: $80 per child per day (before child care subsidy)
Optional Excursion days: $90 per child per day. (Excursions will be optional: families can opt out of the excursion and pay the inhouse rate of $70 per child per day. Excursions will still be divided by year levels. Before child care subsidy)
Holiday Program Deposits: A deposit of $10 per child per day will be charged before 15 December 2024. This deposit will be applied as a credit against the total amount owing, which will occur after the holiday program has completed
change of booking/cancelation/no-show fee. Any cancellations, changes or non-attendance after 15/12/23 will be subject to a $30 per child per day administration fee.

Bookings open and other important dates

Holiday Program release - Week Beginning Monday 20th November: Program plans will be available online, via compass, newsletter and email. (we will not be releasing a hard copy)

Holiday Program Bookings open - Monday 27th November: Bookings can be made online through your Smartcentral Errol Street Campus account. If you do not have a Errol street campus Biz - e - Kidz account, you will need to create one.

Holiday Program Bookings Close - Friday 1st December: Bookings can still be made after this date but are subject to availability.

Confirmations of places - Week Beginning 4th December: Confirmation of places in the program or waiting list will be emailed to families via Smartcentral

Deposits due and last day to make changes - Friday 15th December A $10 per child per day deposit is due and last date to make any changes to your holiday program booking. Any cancellations, changes or non-attendance after this date will be subject to a $30 per child per day administration fee.

Biz - E - Kidz 2024 before and after school care bookings

Dear Biz - E - Kidz Families,

Biz - E - Kidz requires all families make a new booking every school year to ensure their information and bookings are up to date.

Please see below for a list of important dates:

Thursday 16th November: re-enrolment links will be emailed to families. Current users of before and after school care will receive a re-enrolment link via email. This link will take you straight to your Smartcentral account. You will be able to access your Smartcentral account but will not be able to make a before or after school care booking request before Friday 17th November.

Friday 17th November: 2024 Before and after school care bookings open. Booking requests can be made online through Smartcentral by following the re enrolment link

Friday 24th November: Before and after school care bookings close. Bookings can be made after this date but will not be eligible for the first round of priority of access.

Week beginning 4th December: Confirmation Enrolments and bookings will be confirmed via Smartcentral email.

Please note: current families should ensure all fees are up to date before December 15th 2023 to secure a 2024 before and after school care booking. Biz - E - Kidz may refuse a booking due to unpaid fees. New families do not owe any fees until after the commencement of care in 2024
