Important Announcements

Purpleup THANK YOU
Last Thursday our school community proudly supported Purple Day, a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness about epilepsy and showing support for those living with it.
By wearing purple, we show our support, promote inclusion, and help break down misconceptions.
This day was especially meaningful as one of our own students, Jaxon, lives with epilepsy. Jaxon shows incredible strength, resilience, and positivity every day, and we are so proud to stand beside him.
If you haven't already watched Jaxon's video on Facebook, we invite you to watch it now to learn about how Jaxon’s epilepsy affects him—in his own words
Sacred Heart is incredibly grateful for our dedicated staff, who continue to support Jaxon and his family with such care, understanding, and compassion.
By taking part in Purple Day, we not only showed our support to Jaxon, but also helped to build a more inclusive, compassionate, and understanding community for everyone.
Thank you to our students, staff, and families for wearing purple and helping us spread awareness!
2027 Prep Enrolments
Due to increased demand, we are pleased to advise that enrolments for our 2027 Prep intake are now open.
Families are welcome to submit enrolment applications at any time. However, we strongly encourage our existing families to complete their child’s application as soon as possible to assist us with planning for the 2027 school year.
All enrolments are now completed online. To apply, please visit our school website and select the Enrol Now button to access the application form.
While applications should be submitted before 31 July, we strongly encourage families to enrol earlier where possible.
If you have any questions or require assistance with the enrolment process, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
School Fees
A friendly reminder that if you would like to repay your school fees on a regular basis, the earlier you set up your payment plan, the smaller each instalment will be.
March statements have been emailed today. If you did not receive your statement or require any assistance, please contact the school office.
If you hold a Centrelink Concession Card and have not received the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF), please contact the office as you may be missing out on a substantial reduction to your fees.
CSEF payments were credited to eligible accounts on March 16th.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you require support in setting up a payment plan or have any questions.
Calling for Volunteers
Our annual Mother’s Day Stall will take place in Week 3 of Term 2, and we are looking forward to another wonderful event for our students.
Thank you to the parents that have already completed the Volunteer requirements for 2026. If you would like to support the stall, we warmly invite you to assist on the day by contacting Casey Parker on 0408 29 702
If you are a new volunteer, you are required to complete an online application form. Please use the link provided or scan the Qr code to submit your application if you have not previously volunteered at our school.
If you are an existing volunteer and would like to remain on the 2026 approved volunteer list, please contact Sharon Powell on spowell@shyarrawonga.catholic.edu.au
You will then be emailed the mandatory annual Child Safe Induction, which must be completed prior to volunteering.
If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity in 2026 (such as a sports helper, excursion helper, or assisting with the Father’s Day stall), we kindly request that you complete the necessary Volunteer Registration Form in advance. This will streamline the administration process when volunteering opportunities arise.
We greatly appreciate your support.
