Be a part of the Great Victorian Bike Ride community in 2026 as we ride through the Victorian Gold Fields.

Join in this week-long exciting adventure riding through regional Victoria.

Frankston High School is once again offering students in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 the opportunity to participate in the 5-day event. We have a proud history and long association with the Great Victorian Bike Ride. In 2026 we are hoping to further build upon our participation and reputation as a school of excellence within the Great Victorian Bike Ride community.

This year the route starts in Bendigo on Monday 23 November and finishes in Creswick on Frida 27 November.

This is a unique event that involves between 2000 and 4000 riders. It is also unique, because it is one of the few activities that offers parents/carers the opportunity to participate along with their children.

Should your child be interested in participating in the 2026 Great Victorian Bike Ride with Frankston High School, I’d encourage you to attend the information night:

Wednesday 15 July (Week 1 of Term 3)
Presentation Space, Senior Campus

If you are unable to attend, please contact Mr Burt on mburt@fhs.vic.edu.au for further details.

I wish everyone a safe and wonderful holiday and look forward to seeing a large turnout at the information evening. Until then stay safe and keep pedalling.
