Students across Years 7–12 have made an excellent start to the year, working diligently on their English assessments and producing some thoughtful and engaging writing. 

It has been wonderful to see students refining their skills, experimenting with language, and developing their ideas with increasing confidence.

As the holidays approach, we encourage all students to take the opportunity to slow down, get comfortable, and enjoy a good book, newspaper article, or even a comic. Reading for pleasure not only supports relaxation but also plays an important role in building comprehension skills, vocabulary, and overall literacy.

Looking ahead to Term 2, we are excited to once again host our Write a Book in a Day competition. This initiative was a huge success last year, with students demonstrating creativity, collaboration, and enthusiasm. 

We look forward to seeing even more fantastic entries in the months ahead.
