This year we were the WINNERS of the event which is a fantastic achievement.
A HUGE congratulations to the team and a big thank you to our team captains- Isabella D and Charlie C who on behalf of BNPS received the winning pendant on the day.

Division Cross Country
Yesterday all 15 students competed in the cold and windy conditions running around Karkarook Park in Heatherton.
There were some really strong runners from around the different Districts who are XC runners outside of school and often are members of a running club. Tough competition but all our BNPS kids did an awesome job, running their own races and smiling whilst they did it!
All our kids finished in top 30 of a 65 running field which is a FANTASTIC achievement on its own. Well done everyone.
Exceptional results from the following students-
10-year-old girls-2km Sophie T finished in an impressive 8th place.
12-year-old girls- Isabella D finished in an amazing 2nd place with a foot injury as well.
12-year-old boys- Charlie C smashed it finishing in 6th place.
Multiclass event- 2km - Xavier W finished in 1st place in a super effort.
Special thank you to all the parents who came along and supported all the runners on the day.
These 4 runners will now go to the regional competition in Hastings -4 June.
The BNPS community wish you all the best of luck in your running at the next level.
