Division 2 Girls Basketball

Congratulations to the Under 16 Division 2 girls basketball team (pictured), who won the Summer season grand final recently. 

Abbey Conquer (11 Jenkin)

Congratulations to Abbey Conquer who was awarded the Bendigo Harriers Athletics Club U18 Track Champion. Over the season, Abbey was the fastest Bendigo female in the 100m, 200m and 400m events. Her season best time for the 100m of 12.61sec was just .07sec outside the national qualifying standard. 

Hunter Boswell (9 Jenkin)

Congratulations to Hunter Boswell who won Gold at the 2021 Victorian State Age Championships in the 100m Backstroke in a time of 1:01.74 and a Silver medal in the 200m Backstroke in a time of 2:15.51. First and Second place at a state level is outstanding.

Zara Paul (8 Riley) and Charlie Whitsed (11 Riley)

Congratulations Zara Paul and Charlie Whitsed who attended the State Swimming Championships. To compete at this level of competition is a wonderful achievement. Charlie made the final of his 100m Breaststroke and came in 9th. 

Lucy Hall (9 Frew)

Congratulations Lucy Hall who has been invited to join the Victorian State Team in cycling and will compete at the Track Nationals in April.
