Sandhurst Junior Girls Volleyball

On Wednesday 17th of March, the Junior Girls Volleyball team played against local schools at the Sandhurst Division competition. The coaches Madeleine Dole and Isabella St Clair were impressed with how they played together as a team. The team had some tough competition and competitive matches. It’s lovely to see how much the girls have improved throughout the year, and we look forward to continuing working with them this year. Congratulations on finishing 2nd in the silver pool. Thank you to Ms McGlinchey for accompanying the students on the day.

Sandhurst Intermediate Girls Volleyball

On Monday the 1st of March, the Intermediate Girls Volleyball team attended the Sandhurst Division competition at the Bendigo Stadium. The girls played terrifically well, winning all their games in their pool then winning the finals against Weeroona and Crusoe. Congratulations to Tyla Noonan, Madeline Dole, Lucette Wallace Smith, Isabel St Clair, Lily Richter, Grace Hunt, Raphaella Musk, Sophie McClure and Emerson Sim, for bringing home 1st place. The team has now qualified to represent the region at the Loddon Mallee Regional Final in Mildura on the 26th of April. Thank you to Mrs Beckwith for assisting the team on the day.

Sandhurst Junior Boys Volleyball 

The Junior Boys Volleyball team had a great time at their first Sandhurst Volleyball tournament. They, unfortunately, lost their first 2 games in Pool C in a very close match against CMC (who went on to win the competition). As well as an intense game against Weeroona, the team was sent into the bronze pool where they cruised past BSE and East Loddon. I would like to thank Shiralee Bothe for helping to coach the boys and giving them an experience to remember.
