YEAR 9

Congratulations to the year 9 class of 2021. With what feels like a repeat of the previous year of lockdowns and missing out on camps and excursions and extra- curricular activities, our year level showed great resilience through online learning and will head to the senior school with opportunities and a number of things to look forward to. We did have a number of students who had returned to onsite learning sporting some facial hair. So the month of November saw many year nine boys take on the challenge of sculpting this facial hair to participate in Movember and raise awareness for men’s health. They proudly shaped their Mo’s and participated in activities to raise funds. The OES class managed to attend the sailing camp and trips to Wilson’s Prom after several rebooking of dates and in between lockdowns. ACE was a great opportunity for our students to show teamwork as they finished off the school year with a number of challenge weeks – minute to win it, scavenger hunts and team activities.
