Preps - Nature Leaf Bugs

Find natural materials such as leaves, sticks, flowers and rocks. 

Arrange them in the shape of mini-beasts such as butterflies, dragonflies, bees, beetles and spiders.

Year 1s and 2s - Handprint Animals

Did you know that you can trace around the shape of your hands and use the shapes to draw animals? It is so much fun and easy to do!

Let’s take a look at some animals you can draw by tracing your hands!

You can trace your hand yourself or ask a family member to trace your hand for you.

Year 3s and 4s - Mindfulness Art Choice Board

Choose a mindful art challenge from below for your activity this week. 

Complete your very best work by using the materials you have available. 

Remember Art and creativity is great for your mind and your general wellbeing.

Year 5s and 6s - Continuous Line Portrait

A continuous line drawing is one in which a single, unbroken line is used to develop the image.  

It is a great exercise to boost your drawing skills as you learn how to observe the perceived lines of the subject.
