Prep

Take a look at the picture above. Can you guess what/who we are all dressed up as?

Literacy

In literacy this week we have been visited by a whale, the Queen of Thumbs and Miss Bridget has even fallen asleep during one lesson. Just what will she get up to next?

I already knew the Preps were amazing but this week has really proven it! I have spent a bit of time each day catching up 1:1 with the Preps to see how their learning is going. I have been absolutely blown away with how capable and confident they are. Keep it up Preps!

Maths

This week we have begun a new unit on SHAPE. The preps have been exploring shapes in the world around them as well as investigating home many sides and corners shapes have. They each made their very own shape picture and worked out how many different shapes they used. I think they look amazing!

Potato Olympics

Last Friday, I had the honour of being able to see some of the best potato athletes from around the world. These potato athletes, climbed, jumped, ran, swam, spun and rolled their way to victory. I also have some fantastic video footage that I will share with you once we return to school. A special mention to Dwayne for his fantastic Olympic torch, Cavalli for his diving potato that split in half and Dusty for getting the whole family involved!

Well done everyone on a fantastic 2021 Potato Olympics!

As always thanks to everyone for their hard work. I know it is not easy for our beautiful preppies and even harder for families.

Hang in there everyone!
