Dance

Written by Phill Haddad

It's been non stop in the dance studio with daily rehearsals and classes back to back. The excitement of Christmas carol rehearsals with all the classes, has seen students returning to the studio eager to dance their hearts out once again.                                                             Combined classes rehearsing together has seen and intense jolt of Christmas fun and cheer run through the school, with everyone working hard to put on a great performance for our second live carols performance. Students sound amazing with thanks to Mr Lapina's and their teachers guidance in music, and now match that and look amazing also after learning the choreography and dance moves to compliment their songs. Students and staff are all set to share an enjoyable and memorable night of Christmas fun with you all.                                                                                                                      Year Six students have been working hard in rehearsals for their upcoming end of year graduation performance. Everyone has been committed and dedicated throughout the process, and have become more excited each rehearsal as they begin to see the final vision come to life. Many have jumped out of their usual comfort zone and applied themselves completely to what's been set out, and realised the joys and rewards of venturing into new grounds. They have learnt so much throughout this process, which has seen their confidence grow as they work with other fellow students they don't normally work with.                                   The Year 6 students will be performing three seperate dance routines for this years graduation, with the few selected students who performed at this years Victorian State School Spectacular doing a special performance as well. Each year our Year Six graduation just keeps getting better and better reaching new heights, and this years students and celebration promises to do the same!
