Instrumental Music

In the Music Department this term we've been fortunate enough to be joined by Aaron and Luciano, who teach guitar and drums respectively. Not only are they both highly accomplished teachers, but they are seasoned professionals in the music industry who bring a wealth of experience to share with our students.  It is great to see our students enjoying their lessons with Aaron and Lu! 

Ensembles

Term 3 has seen us commence a guitar ensemble, a percussion ensemble and a senior rock band. These ensembles rehearse at various lunch times and the percussion ensemble especially is open to all - Monday at lunch in the theatre. The students will be so excited to share performances with the school community as the year progresses, so stay tuned! 

Where to buy an instrument? 

If your child currently learns in the program, or wishes to enrol, then having an instrument at home to practice on is essential. Allegro Music Education Supplies in Thomastown in our preferred local retailer and be sure to mention you're an Edgar's Creek Secondary College family. 

Enrolling in Music Lessons

Instrumental Music Enrolments for 2022 will soon come to a close. We have some remaining places on drum kit and a waiting list for piano. More information about The College's Instrumental Music Program can be found at this website. Please fill out the online form or contact me via Compass if you wish your child to enrol.
