The Education Perfect Regional Language Championships 2022

This year's competition was run for 3 days, from the 10th-12th of August. There were 335 schools around Victoria involved in this competition, and 68 different languages included. 

This competition entails students answering questions; from the reading, writing, speaking and listening content from the educational platform, and earning points for each specified answer. 

Our school Edgars Creek Secondary College, came in 2nd place🏆 for Spanish with 11,474 points!

Our top 3 performing students were, Ayana Bhalla in 🥇1st place, awarded an Elite certificate with more than 5000 points. Gurnoor Sidhu in 🥈2nd place, awarded with a Silver certificate with 1,500 points and Agamjot Kahlon in 🥉3rd place, also awarded a Silver certificate with 1,500 points!

These students worked extremely hard during their Spanish lessons, and in their own time, to anwser questions about specific Spanish vocabulary, reading comprehension tasks and creating sentence structures with the knowledge they have learnt throughout the year.

Congratulations girls!! 🎉🎉And to all the students that participated for our school in this competition!
