The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge is a great opportunity for all students, especially during this time at home, to start reading from the 12,000 titles on the challenge reading list.
The challenge encourages students from Prep to Year 10 to read and record their efforts online, promoting the importance of reading for literacy development. Students will receive a certificate of achievement upon completion of the Challenge.

2021 Theme – Unity - The Way Forward
Refugee Week is celebrated annually to inform and educate us about refugees and celebrates positive contributions made by refugees to Australian Society. Refugee Week provides a platform where positive images of refugees can be promoted in order to create a culture of welcome throughout the country. The ultimate aim of the celebration is to create a better understanding between different communities and to encourage integration enabling refugees to live in safety and to continue making a valuable contribution to Australia. 2021 Theme - Heal Country
NAIDOC (National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee) Week is a wonderful week of celebration and opportunity for all Australians to commemorate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The NAIDOC 2021 theme – Heal Country! – calls for all Australians to continue to seek greater protections for our lands, our waters, our sacred sites and our cultural heritage from exploitation, desecration, and destruction.
