Fantastic French

Bonjour tout le monde!

We are so excited about our FRENCH DAY AND INCURSION

on Wednesday 14 July, first week back in Term 3!

Our French Day in Term 3  will coincide with Le Quatorze Juillet (14 July)

which is the French National Holiday, also known as Bastille Day.

On Wednesday 14 July 2021, in the first week back after Term 2 holidays, students are encouraged to wear French themed costumes or colours (blue, white and red) to celebrate this special day at school.

Photos will be taken for the School magazine and CL@S awards will be given to outstanding costume designs and ideas.

There will be no charge for the French Dress Day and the canteen plans to organise a French Meal Deal on the day, for those who wish to participate in this French themed lunch option, at their own cost.

Students will also be attending, in the stadium, a performance of “Les Batons Français”, from Cultural Infusion.

The students will watch the show at the following times:

-Foundation to Grade 2 at 9:50 a.m

 -Grade 3 and 4 at 12 p.m.

 -Grade 5 and 6 at 2 p.m.

Payment for the performance has been factored in the Student Levy, so there will be no extra cost.

We look forward to everyone enjoying the French Day on July 14, 2021!

We wish you all a happy and safe holiday.

Bonnes Vacances!
