What's happening in Performing Arts Sessions this Week?
Foundation - Constructing our Noisy, Recycled Instruments
Grade 1/2 - Drama under the Sea - A Pirate Adventure
Grade 3/4 - Reading Notes on the Staff and Practising the Resonator Bells
Grade 5/6 - Stagecraft Design Task - Designing Set, Props, Costume, Hair & Make-Up
No Junior & Senior Choir onsite for the remainder of Term 2
In line with the current Department of Education and Training and Chief Medical Officer's guidelines no Junior or Senior Choir rehearsals will be taking place during the remainder of Term 2 onsite.
Mrs Tenace may contact our Senior Choir members shortly with further information regarding rehearsal arrangements, but at this stage, we aim for all onsite Choir rehearsals to recommence in Term 3 and we will email you further information regarding this prior to Week 1 of Term 3.

Senior Production - NEW Update
We are pleased to announce that after much discussion and negotiation with the Besen Centre and other service providers involved in staging this production (including backdrop, filming and bus hirers), as well as working around other dates in our community calendar, we have been able to secure a new booking for our Senior Production for Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd of October.
While there are still restrictions in place that prevent us from mixing cohorts and rehearsing the musical items within our production for the remainder of Term 2, our new performance dates will allow us plenty of time during Term 3 to prepare for our Senior Production.
Please note that the proposed rehearsals on Sunday 20th June, Sunday 11th July and Sunday 18th July will not go ahead as planned. We will send out an updated rehearsal schedule to families in the coming weeks with a full list of dates for new lunchtime, Wednesday afternoon and Sunday rehearsals, as well as full-dress rehearsals held during school time.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those parent volunteers who have continued to support the making of props, costumes and constructing elements of sets from their homes during this time. Your enthusiasm, support and contribution is greatly appreciated!

Singing Lessons at BPPS - a few spots left
We have a few spots left for students interested in singing. If your child is in Grade 4, 5 or 6 and is interested in singing lessons please click on the link below and complete the expression of interest form:
Health guidelines for vocal students having lessons individually will be provided by the voice teacher.
