Year 9 Textiles and Plastics
As part of year 9 Textiles and Plastic course students have been experimenting with bio plastics.
Science technician Suzanne Thornley demonstrated two different methods for how to make bio degradable plastics from household ingredients.
The students had fun making small batches of bio plastic for possible use as part of a garment they will be making this semester which focuses on sustainability.
