During weeks 8-9 of this term, Year 8 Humanities classes filmed their own version of Horrible Histories Video based on content learnt in class on how medieval Europe operated under the feudal system.
Seven groups entered in this competition in week 9 and the three winning groups voted by 76 parents, students and staff are about to enjoy a pizza lunch on the last day of term 1.
Here is one group's experience in this task and participation in the competition.
We are group 3 - Eva Jarman, Maddie Lewis, Meg Perkin & Ruby Overton - and we worked on a Horrible History Project. Our experience was enjoyable, filled with humour and fun to video. Filming was difficult because of timing and our surroundings but we made it work. Collaborating with our friends was a blast and we had tons of fun behind the scenes and editing with each other. It may not have been the best video, but we wouldn’t turn down this opportunity, we gave it a shot and look where we got! Thank you to our voters and good job to the other participants!

Congratulations to all Languages students who participated in the recent Education Perfect World Championships. There was some fierce competition within the school and against other schools around the world!
Well done to 7B Japanese for being the top-ranked class in the school and to our individual award-winners below. We hope to be able to present their certificates at an assembly next term.
