Athletics Carnival wrap

Our annual athletics carnival took place on Thursday 31 March. Although the drizzle set in at the start of the day the sun broke out and it turned out to be a sunny day, perfect for the colourful rays of zinc to come out on everyone’s face. The day was filled with events for everyone to participate from 100m sprints to high jump and even the staff vs student relay where the year 11s beat the teacher team. It was a fun day for all who attended to dress up in their house colours, grab a sausage in bread from the SRC barbecue and compete for house points, even in novelty events.

The day concluded with House chants and Melba being announced the winners of the carnival.

Congratulations to all and thank you to all the teachers who assisted on the day and a huge thank you to Ms Parker for another successful athletics carnival.
