Let's Hear it From Our Graduates

Congratulations Erin! 

We share our congratulations to Dr Erin Bourke for her outstanding achievements when graduating from the UNE Joint Medical Programme.

 

Erin's success was recognised with three prestigous awards at a ceremony held at the Tablelands Clinical School last month:

  • Robert French Prize for Surgery - for a student who graduates with honours, who scores in top 15% of graduates in surgical course, and who demonstrates a commitment to a career in surgery;
  • UNE Medical Student Association Award for Excellence - for a student who has demonstrated excellence while encountering hardship or adversity, or who have made a significant contribution to the course, fellow students, or student life;
  • School of Rural Medicine Head of School Award - for the medical student who achieves the highest academic rank in the Bachelor of Medicine Joint Medical Programme.

Erin graduated as Dux from Duval High School in 2014 before going on to study in the University of New England Joint Medical Programme.
