Maths Challenge

Australian Mathematics Competition

Last Friday, 36 highly motivated ASC students pulled on their best thinking-caps to participate in the super-challenging Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC). All students displayed most impressive level of dedicated problem-solving and represented their school with impeccable behaviour.

The AMC is an internationally renowned annual competition for school-aged students.  It is  the largest Mathematics competition in the world, with half a million entrants from over 30 countries in a typical year. Participants have 75 minutes to tackle 30 questions of increasing difficulty. Younger and older students sit different levels of the AMC and are judged competitively against others in their school year.

We look forward to seeing our students' AMC results in around six weeks.
