Athletics Trials for Years 3 - 6.

This Friday is our annual school athletics trials at Coburg Athletics Track for Year 3 to Year 6. The students will be traveling to the Coburg Athletics track by bus, leaving at 9:15 (Year 5/6) and 9:30 (Year 3/4). They have been practicing the events throughout physical education classes this Term and all students participating on Friday are very excited.  The events include long jump, triple jump, discuss, 200m and more. Students will start departing the athletics track back to school at 1:30pm.

Please note:

1. All children will need to wear their school sports uniform and appropriate footwear, and bring a small backpack with them that has their hats, sunscreen, lunches and filled water bottle inside.  

2. We are still continuing to adhere to COVID protocols and procedures. Parents will be allowed to come watch on the day at the track.  However, similarly to our last Athletics Day in 2021, parents will not be allowed to view from inside the track.  There will be a designated area behind where the children are sitting if you wish to come and watch your child/ren on the day. 

3. If you choose to collect your child after the event, please ensure that you see your homeroom teacher to sign off that you have collected them.  You are not allowed to collect other children on behalf of parents without written consent prior to Friday.
