At 'Community Needs Analysis Meetings' in 2019, poor housing and sanitation conditions for thirty families were identified as the two most pressing issues that the community was facing. During onsite inspection, Vinh Long Red Cross had pinpointed two families that need urgent assistance. Criteria applied including:
- Income and livelihood of family
- Health and physical capacity of family
- Housing location in flood-danger area.
We have attached the information about the family we are assisting through the community project.
It was an amazing 18 months' preparation time with practice hikes, a Bunnings BBQ fundraiser, movie nights, individual BBQ’s, dinners, family events, cake stalls etc……… and of course our amazing Trivia Night at the College. Congratulations to all girls!!
