Past Pupils of Distinction Dinner

Celebrating Kilbreda Women

On Friday evening 9 August 2019,  Kilbreda College celebrated the second Past Pupils of Distinction Dinner. We proudly acknowledged the Inductees to Kilbreda Past Pupils of Distinction and the Nominees who are all wonderful role models for our young women.

All present were privileged to share in the stories of our Nominees and Inductees. These remarkable Kilbreda women gave us the opportunity to know their stories and journey with them for a short time. We had the opportunity to acknowledge, recognise and celebrate their achievements, their contributions to making a difference and living the Kilbreda motto of “Strength and Kindliness”. These Kilbreda Alumnae are models of excellence for both current and future students.

Whilst this program of celebrating Kilbreda Women Making a Difference is a Past Pupil’s Committee initiative, it is a Kilbreda College Community celebration. Kilbreda Leadership, members of the Stewardship Council, College Co Captains Naomi Russo and Ella Allen, VCAL students, Office, Maintenance, Marketing, Hospitality and Audio Visual Departments came together to work towards a common goal, a fabulous event.

We look forward to celebrating more of our Kilbreda Women as part of the continuing Past Pupils of Distinction Program in 2021.

Nominations will open in June 2020. Information will be emailed to all on our database, will be included in the June 2020 Tower Talk Newsletter and the College Newsletter and posted on the Kilbreda Past Pupils Facebook page.

We ask that you seriously consider nominating a past pupil who meets the criteria of achieving excellence in their chosen field, have made a difference in the lives of others and embodied the Kilbreda motto of Strength and Kindliness. Previous nominees may be re-nominated if they have not been inducted.

We look forward to celebrating and acknowledging our Kilbreda women.
