A Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious show!

Mary Poppins - The Broadway Musical  our senior school production, was a spectacular success!  With sell-out houses and enthusiastic, appreciative audiences, it was a show which will be remembered for a long time.

Mary Poppins - The Broadway Musical  provided not only a showcase for our talented students, but also opportunities for students to form new friendships, collaborate, problem solve and take on leadership roles. 

Throughout the rehearsal process, we saw incredible growth not only in performance skills but also in confidence and self-esteem.  Our students worked together as a team and rose to the many challenges this show presented. The care, support and respect shown for each-other was also admirable.

Congratulations to the wonderful Mary Poppins - The Broadway Musical  community of cast, crew and staff, who worked tirelessly, with commitment and enthusiasm, over six months of rehearsals to create such a sensational and memorable production.

This year our senior school production, the classic Mary Poppins - The Broadway Musical was a huge success! With rehearsals beginning in early March, there were many dances and songs to learn before our big week of performances in August.

During the rehearsal process, students from all year levels were given the opportunity to showcase and improve their singing, dancing and acting skills. Practising each week was an enjoyable and rewarding experience, where we practised new choreography and worked together to learn our harmonies. After months of rehearsals, production week was upon us. With five shows and a practically full house every night, we knew this was going to be a huge production! Our magnificent costumes, set and lighting brought the stage to life and we could not wait to get up and perform in front of our supportive audiences.

The production was a grand success, with positive feedback from our audience members, describing it as “a truly magical experience”, while others were already booking additional tickets for the following nights!

Mary Poppins - The Broadway Musical was an incredible opportunity for all students at the College to make new friends and to express themselves through their outstanding talents. And so, with the conclusion of five shows and over 150 hours of rehearsals, it is with love, gratitude and as a result of everyone’s hard work on and off the stage that everyone can agree in saying, this production was and will forever be, “practically perfect in every way…”
