Book Week 2022

The theme for this year was ‘Dreaming with eyes open . . .’

Students were able to participate in a competition – matching the teacher with their response to ‘I dream with my eyes open about . . .’

The following responses are correct:

Mr Webster:      . . . the time when I was awake with my eyes shut.

Ms Scholefield:  . . . a world that means everybody feels safe and successful, where every kid knows their worth, and we all work together rather than apart.

Ms Manser:         . . . insects and bugs, they filled the air with a cacophony of sound and rhythm that I found soothing, mother nature‘s heartbeat, audible, constant and comforting.

Mr Wu:                 . . . the day when the flowers of freedom bloom in all corners of the world.

Ms Middleton:   . . . a kinder, gentler world where all people are treated with kindness, dignity and respect – it’s up to us all.

Mr Elliott:           . . . beautiful beaches and perfect weather, a place to relax and switch off.

Congratulations to Izzy Antonopoulos for providing the correct responses.  Izzy wins a $10 Orchard voucher.

Participating students also earnt House points:

  • Byrne 190
