Amplify Term 4
Years 9 & 10
Amplify provides Year 9 & 10 students with a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable life skills in subjects not normally offered through our curriculum. In Term 4 we have a really exciting array of subjects for students to choose from!
They range from AUSLAN to Crochet, Writing for Digital Media to Yoga! For the first time, we're also offering an opportunity for students to get involved with planning our College Yearbook!
Amplify is runs in Period 4 every Wednesday and students must make their web preferences by Fri 9 Sept.
Students and parents will find the full list of choices, with descriptions, in the following attachment.
Do you love media, photography, graphics or art? Are you interested in how magazines are put together? Then choose our new Amplify Subject 'Yearbook Committee'!
For the first time, students will help put together the Wantirna College Yearbook ‘The Falcon’. Using Canva, students will work in small groups on allocated pages to design the layout and they’ll use graphics and photos to make each page pop!
This is a great opportunity for media, arts & tech students, or anyone who is interested, to contribute to a lasting memento of 2022.
Yearbooks are a wonderful memento of the school year. A place for us to capture the highlights of 2022. For the first time, students will help put together the Wantirna College Yearbook ‘The Falcon’ and all Wantirna College students are invited to enter the Yearbook Cover Art Competition!
We are looking for visually engaging designs for the front and/or back cover of the year book that reflect the culture and vibe of our College.
You may like to incorporate something that reflects a major world or College event of 2022.
Entries must be submitted by 3pm, Fri 14 October 2022 and students can find more details and the entry form here:
